DIY: Sailor Style Cutoffs!!!

Picture

I sat down with a pair of jeans and scissors to make some cute tribal shorts but they went in a different direction! The girly, sailor style cutoffs can be made in any color for any occasion. Here's how to make them!

Picture1. Lay a basic pair of shorts over your jeans and cut the jeans to the same length.

Picture 2. Now turn the jeans inside out, and hot-glue a strip of any ruffle fabric all the way around the leg.

3. Now turn the shorts right side out, and hot-glue ribbon all the way around each leg. Hot-glue a button over where the two ends of the ribbon meet.

4. Finally, finish off the shorts with three buttons on each side for the sailor style. Let all the hot-glue dry and your shorts will be finished. NOTE: Hot-glueing can also be replaced with sewing!
